Led by President Daniel Young, Community Development operations guide land development, infrastructure, residential construction and agriculture operations.
Community Development is responsible for:
Residential Community Development
Land Sales and Management: Markets and sells land for residential, institutional and community (noncommercial) uses, focusing on identifying markets for innovative land use projects such as senior housing.
Entitlement: Oversees all entitlement efforts, including securing the necessary local governmental approvals, resolving pertinent policy issues and communicating with communities.
Marketing and Residential Sales: Responsible for market analysis, product development and coordination of sales and marketing efforts of homebuilders, as well as direct sales of the Irvine Company’s custom-home site programs.
Finance and Business Development: Responsible for the financial affairs of Community Development.
Agricultural Operations: Oversees the Irvine Company’s agricultural leases and operations of avocado orchards.
